D207 Remote UDrive Access - FileServer (District File Manager)

PLEASE READ BEFORE USING SERVICE

 

  • If accessing via a personal desktop make sure at least one of the following is installed:
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • OpenOffice/LibreOffice (Writer, Calc, Impress)
  • Also, a PDF Viewer/Editor (Acrobat, Foxit, SumatraPDF).

 
  • Use your maine207.org credentials to log in. 
    • Login (not entire email address)
    • Password

  • Once logged in, make sure you select the correct folder according to your campus from the left panel of the website.
    • Maine East - East U Drive
    • Maine South - South U Drive
    • Maine West - West U Drive

  • Downloading and Re-uploading files
    • Right click or Double click on the folder or file that needs downloading.

  • Make sure you know your browser default download location, typically the Downloads folder on Windows or macOS.

  • Once you are done editing your file and would like to save it back in your U:\ drive. Simply use the Upload function back in the https://fileserver.maine207.org website.

  • Select Browse… in the pop up dialog box

  • Select the edited file from the File Upload window

  • When uploading the edited file you may get the following dialog box.
    • Selecting Yes will overwrite the existing file in your U:\ drive.
    • Selecting No will create another copy of the file and will add a number in parentheses.
