Step 1) Disable (Turn Off) 2-Factor Authentication

Click Manage Your Google Account by clicking on your picture in Gmail. |

Click Security |
|
|
Click 2-Step Verification |
|
|
Click Turn Off |
Step 2) Change Your Password
|
Visit password.maine207.org |
|
|
Login using your current username and password and click Change Password. |
|
|
Type in a New Password |
|
|
Wait for it to change across all systems. |
|
|
Sign back into Google with your new password. |
Step 3) Enable 2-Step Verification
|
Log back into Gmail using your new password and click Manage your Google Account. |

Click Security |
|
|
Click 2-Step Verification |
|
|
Click Get Started |
|
|
Choose how you would like to enable 2-Step Verification: Phone Number, Security Key or Google Prompt |
|
|
I would recommend Google Prompt. You may need to sign back into your @maine207.org Google Account on your phone in order to see the device listed. |
|
|
Create a backup option using your phone number or generate google codes. |
|
|
Turn On 2-Step Verification |
